There are a number of special events to enhance your conference-going experience:

There are also a number of excursions each year. Check back soon for more information on this year's offerings.

Excursions
We are excited to offer two excursions that will showcase both medieval history and the history of our host city.  On Tuesday afternoon we will have a curator's talk at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, for the exhibit: "The Nature of Things: Medieval Art and Ecology, 1100-1550."  On Wednesday afternoon we will sponsor a tour of the historical Fabulous Fox theater.  

The Pulitzer Arts exhibit/talk is Free, and the tour of the Fox Theater is $5.  B
oth are within easy walking distance of the university.  If you are interested, sign up when you register for the Symposium via the registration page.


Exhibits
Our book exhibit will feature a wide variety of publishers and other vendors. Many of the most recognizable names in scholarly Medieval and Renaissance publishing will have their latest and most popular wares on display and available for purchase.
