This year we are pleased to offer an excursion to the beautiful Missouri Botanical Garden on Sunday, June 9th. Those who register for this excursion will take a bus in the afternoon to the nearby gardens where they can wander through 79 acres of gorgeous cultivated gardens. The Missouri Botanical Garden has been in operation since 1859, making it the oldest continuously operated botanical garden in the country and a National Historic Landmark. To learn more about this unique St. Louis attraction, visit their website. The conference will also be organizing a bus trip to the Gateway Arch National Park. If you choose to join this excursion, you will be able to enjoy the manicured urban park surrounding the Arch, explore the free museum located beneath the Arch, visit the nearby historic Basilica of Saint Louis, King of France (typically called the Old Cathedral), and adventure through some of downtown St. Louis. Exhibits Our book exhibit will feature a wide variety of publishers and other vendors. Many of the most recognizable names in scholarly Medieval and Renaissance publishing will have their latest and most popular wares on display and available for purchase. |
